The sterling silver beads with designs are crafted by hand in small workshops, usually in homes, by artisans in Indonesia. The detail in some of these beads is incredible; they are tiny works of art in themselves.

Sourcing of Stones and Beads

The semi-precious stones used for bead making are mined from around the world: Asia, Africa, South America, and so on. Many of these stones are made of beads in China, a top producer of excellent quality beads, and imported to the US. The fresh-water pearls are harvested in China. However, each piece is strung by hand or assembled, when ordered, right here in the Heartland, USA, and most orders can be shipped within a couple of days.

Custom Sizing

On many items, Down to Earth Jewelry offers choices in length sizes. On chokers, bracelets, and anklets, this customizing feature gives you more flexibility in jewelry size and, consequently, a perfect fit. In many other pieces, length flexibility is provided by 2-inch extension chains. Many earring selections offer choices in French ear wires,  sterling posts, or lever back.
